The Sunny Star choker necklace was introduced by Avon in 1975. This necklace features a ¾” gold-tone star in the center of a 15½” gold-tone curb chain. This includes a 1” extender for adjustment. The necklace closes with a spring ring and is signed © AVON on a gold-tone hang tag. It was supposedly named for Sunny Griffin, who was a director and model for Avon. There are ads showing Sunny and her daughter Kelly both wearing the Sunny Star. This necklace is in excellent vintage condition.
